Events: Contracts
Overview
The Contracts section is where you manage your terms and conditions for an event. You can write your contract, require a client signature, and control whether it appears in the client-facing proposal.

How to access Contracts
Open any event and click Contracts in the left-side navigation.
Writing your contract
The contract editor works like a standard text editor. You can format your text and use the Insert Placeholder dropdown to automatically pull in event details such as:
- Customer first and last name
- Event name and date
- Florist name and contact information
This lets you write a contract once and have it personalize automatically for each event.
Contract settings
Require signature
Check Require Signature to make the contract a required step for your client. When enabled, the contract will show as Not Signed until the client signs. Once signed, the status updates to Signed.
Hide from client
Toggle Hidden from Client to prevent the contract from appearing in the client-facing proposal. Use this if you are not ready to share the contract yet or if you do not need one for a particular event.
Signing the contract
Once the proposal is published and shared, both the client and the florist need to sign the contract. Each party signs separately:
- Client — signs from their proposal link
- Florist — signs from within the event in the Dashboard
To sign, click the signature area, enter your full name, and your signature will be generated automatically. Click Sign to complete. By signing, you acknowledge that the signature is legally binding and has the same effect as a handwritten signature.
If additional signers are needed, click + Add Another Signer to add them to the contract.
When all required parties have signed, the contract status updates to Signed.
Editing a signed contract
If you need to make changes after the contract has been signed, click Edit Contract. This will void the existing signatures. You can then make your changes and request new signatures.
If you change your mind, click Discard Changes to restore the contract to its previously signed state.
Tips
- Save your standard terms and conditions as a template so you do not have to rewrite them for each event. Learn more
- Use placeholders for client and event details to keep your contract accurate without extra manual work.
