Service Area Override allows Studio florists to customize the address text displayed on their website while maintaining SEO benefits. Instead of showing your physical street address, you can display custom messaging that better reflects your business model, while still appearing in local search results.

By default, your website will display "Serving the greater [your city] area" if no override is set. This feature gives you control over what customers see regarding your location and availability.

Why use Service Area Override?

1. Communicate your business model: Clearly indicate if you're appointment-only, delivery-only, or have other access requirements.
2. Maintain SEO value: Your map pin will be positioned in the center of your city, ensuring you appear in local search results without revealing your exact location.

Configure Service Area Override

Note: This change will only apply if you are studio florist.

Steps:

1. Go to Dashboard > My Shop > Shop Info.
2. Locate the Service Area Override field.
3. Enter your custom text (see examples below).
4. Save Changes.

What to enter:

Your Service Area Override text replaces the address line on your website. Choose messaging that helps customers understand how to reach or order from you.

Yes. If you leave it blank, your website will display "Serving the greater [your city] area" by default.

Will customers still be able to find me on a map?

Yes. Your business will appear on maps with a pin in the center of your city. Customers can still contact you or place orders through your website.

Does this hide my address from all customers?
